How the Application Works

Certified Holistic™ is recognizing Maine’s most values-led businesses in our founding year — 2026.
This first phase focuses on clarity, transparency, and real-world application of our standards, celebrating the local leaders setting the tone for holistic practice in their communities.

Using the Certified Holistic™ Merit Framework below, we evaluate businesses across food integrity, sustainability, craftsmanship, community connection, and ethical practices. Eligible participants who meet the threshold will be featured on our site and receive a Certified Holistic™ 2026 window decal and launch collateral.

This application celebrates holistic leadership — not perfection. We know every business is unique; the goal is alignment, not a scorecard.

  • Please check all boxes that apply to your business.

  • Not every business will check every box — and that’s okay.

  • What matters most is your commitment to integrity, community, and conscious practices.

  • We review each business using our pilot-year framework and may follow up with questions if needed.

Our founding-year standards will continue to evolve with community feedback and real-world learning.
